Development notes, new systems and live city changes. Each transmission starts collapsed and three updates are displayed per page.
DIEVAST v69 – Server Security Update A new server-side security system has been introduced to prevent unauthorized manipulation of health, ammunition, movement, and rewards through the browser. This update includes: Player HP and ammunition are now validated by the server. Artificially increased health or ammunition can no longer be saved. Movement speed and unauthorized teleportation are monitored. Added protection against flying and shooting from invalid heights. Shot origin, range, and firing rate are validated. Rifle, flamethrower, and grenade ammunition is confirmed by the server. Healing and respawning now use protected server-side systems. XP and credits are awarded only after a validated combat action. Abnormally frequent zombie and Raid Boss rewards are blocked. Suspicious actions are recorded in the security log. After five violations, the player’s requests are temporarily suspended. This update significantly improves multiplayer fairness and protects all player progress stored on the server.
DIEVAST v67 – ECTO Patrol and Performance Update Three ECTO vehicles are now patrolling the apocalyptic city. Each vehicle follows its own route through the central streets, turns smoothly, and uses flashing red and blue emergency lights. To reduce lag, the previous vehicle model has been replaced with a smaller and more optimized GLB file. All three vehicles share the same loaded 3D model resources, preventing the game from loading three separate full copies. This update includes: * Added 3 moving ECTO patrol vehicles. * Added three different city-center patrol routes. * Vehicles no longer drive into fields or outside the city. * Integrated a smaller 10.6 MB ECTO model. * Reduced the number of dynamic lights. * Optimized emergency lights and movement calculations. * Shared model resources between all three vehicles. * The city and patrol fleet now load completely during the loading screen. * Reduced freezing and stuttering when entering the city. * Improved performance on mobile devices and lower-powered computers.
DIEVAST v68 – Armageddon Update The Armageddon event is now more dangerous and rewarding. When it begins, a short warning siren plays, the city atmosphere changes, and all infected become 25% faster. During active Armageddon: Infected movement speed is increased by 25%. Zombie kills grant 2× XP and credits. Raid Boss rewards are also doubled. Bonus rewards are automatically saved to the player’s account. The event status and remaining time appear below the minimap. Kill notifications display the “ARMAGEDDON 2X” bonus. Armageddon remains active for 45 seconds and repeats regularly. The system is optimized and does not spawn additional infected or use heavy visual effects, helping maintain stable game performance.
